Wrongful restraint.
Full Text
(1) Whoever voluntarily obstructs any person so as to prevent that person from proceeding in any direction in which that person has a right to proceed, is said wrongfully to restrain that person.\n(2) Whoever wrongfully restrains any person shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both.

सदोष अवरोध।\n(1) जो कोई किसी व्यक्ति को स्वेच्छया ऐसे बाधित करता है कि उस व्यक्ति को उस दिशा में जाने से रोक दे जिसमें उस व्यक्ति को जाने का अधिकार है, वह उस व्यक्ति का "सदोष अवरोध" करता है, यह कहा जाता है ।\n(2) जो कोई किसी व्यक्ति का सदोष अवरोध करेगा, वह सादा कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि एक माह तक की हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, जो पांच हजार रुपये तक का हो सकेगा, या दोनों से दंडित किया जाएगा ।
