Act endangering life or personal safety of others.

Whoever does any act so rashly or negligently as to endanger human life or the personal safety of others, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to two thousand five hundred rupees, or with both; and if hurt is caused, shall be punished with imprisonment up to six months or fine up to five thousand rupees; and if grievous hurt is caused, shall be punished with imprisonment up to two years or fine up to ten thousand rupees.

दूसरों के जीवन या वैयक्तिक सुरक्षा को संकटापन्न करने वाला कार्य।\nजो कोई इतने उतावलेपन या उपेक्षा से कोई कार्य करेगा जिससे मानव जीवन या दूसरों की वैयक्तिक सुरक्षा संकटापन्न हो जाए, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि तीन माह तक की हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, जो दो हजार पांच सौ रुपये तक का हो सकेगा, या दोनों से दंडित किया जाएगा ; और यदि उपहति कारित होती है, तो छह माह तक के कारावास या पांच हजार रुपये तक के जुर्माने से दंडित किया जाएगा ; और यदि घोर उपहति कारित होती है, तो दो वर्ष तक के कारावास या दस हजार रुपये तक के जुर्माने से दंडित किया जाएगा ।
