Right to reside in a shared household

Full Text

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, every woman in a domestic relationship shall have the right to reside in the shared household, whether or not she has any right, title or beneficial interest in the same.

(2) The aggrieved person shall not be evicted or excluded from the shared household or any part of it by the respondent save in accordance with the procedure established by law.

(1) तत्समय प्रवृत्त किसी अन्य विधि में किसी बात के होते हुए भी, घरेलू नातेदारी में रहने वाली प्रत्येक महिला को साझी गृहस्थी में निवास करने का अधिकार होगा, चाहे उसका उसमें कोई अधिकार, हक या फायदाप्रद हित हो या नहीं।

(2) व्यथित व्यक्ति को कानून द्वारा स्थापित प्रक्रिया के अनुसार के सिवाय, प्रत्यर्थी द्वारा साझी गृहस्थी या उसके किसी भाग से बेदखल या अपवर्जित नहीं किया जाएगा।
