Evidence taken down under section 138 shall be in the form prescribed by rule 5 and shall be read over and signed and, as occasion may require, interpreted and corrected as if it were evidence taken down under that rule.

धारा 138 के अधीन लिखा गया साक्ष्य नियम 5 द्वारा विहित प्ररूप में होगा और उसे पढ़कर सुनाया जाएगा तथा उस पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाएंगे और जैसा अवसर अपेक्षित करे, उसे ऐसे समझाया और शुद्ध किया जाएगा मानो वह उस नियम के अधीन लिखा गया साक्ष्य हो।
