Proof where no attesting witness found

If no such attesting witness can be found, it must be proved that the attestation of one attesting witness at least is in his handwriting, and that the signature of the person executing the document is in the handwriting of that person.

यदि ऐसा कोई अनुप्रमाणक गवाह (attesting witness) नहीं मिल सकता है, तो यह साबित किया जाना चाहिए कि कम से कम एक अनुप्रमाणक गवाह का अनुप्रमाणन उसके हस्तलेख में है, और दस्तावेज़ निष्पादित करने वाले व्यक्ति के हस्ताक्षर उस व्यक्ति के हस्तलेख में हैं।
