Full Text
Whoever, by secretly burying or otherwise disposing of the dead body of a child whether such child die before or after or during its birth, intentionally conceals or endeavours to conceal the birth of such child, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

जो कोई किसी बालक के मृत शरीर को गुप्त रूप से दफनाकर या अन्यथा उसका व्ययन करके, चाहे ऐसे बालक की मृत्यु उसके जन्म से पूर्व या पश्चात या जन्म के दौरान हुई हो, ऐसे बालक के जन्म को जानबूझकर छिपाएगा या छिपाने का प्रयत्न करेगा, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि दो वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, या दोनों से, दंडित किया जाएगा।
