Adulteration of drugs.

Whoever adulterates any drug or medical preparation in such a manner as to lessen the efficacy or change the operation of such drug or medical preparation, or to make it noxious, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both.
Punishment
1 year imprisonment, or 5,000 fine, or both.

जो कोई औषधियों या चिकित्सा संबंधी तैयारियों में इस प्रकार मिलावट करता है कि उनकी प्रभावशीलता कम हो जाए या वे हानिकारक बन जाएं, उसे 1 साल तक की जेल या 5,000 रुपये तक का जुर्माना हो सकता है।
