Force.

A person is said to use force to another if he causes motion, change of motion, or cessation of motion to that other, or if he causes to any substance such contact as brings that substance into contact with any part of that other's body, or with anything which that other is wearing or carrying, or with anything so situated that such contact influences that other's sense of feeling: Provided that the person causing the motion, or change of motion, or cessation of motion, causes that motion, change of motion, or cessation of motion in one of the three ways hereinafter described.

बल।\nकोई व्यक्ति दूसरे व्यक्ति पर बल का प्रयोग करता है, यह कहा जाता है यदि वह उस दूसरे व्यक्ति में गति, गति परिवर्तन या गतिहीनता कारित करता है, या यदि वह किसी पदार्थ को ऐसे संपर्क में लाता है जिससे उस पदार्थ का उस दूसरे व्यक्ति के शरीर के किसी भाग से, या उस वस्तु से जिसे वह दूसरा व्यक्ति पहने हुए है या ले जा रहा है, या ऐसी किसी वस्तु से संपर्क होता है जिससे उस दूसरे व्यक्ति की स्पर्श-शक्ति पर प्रभाव पड़ता है : परंतु यह तब जब गति, गति परिवर्तन या गतिहीनता कारित करने वाला व्यक्ति नीचे वर्णित तीन तरीकों में से किसी एक द्वारा ऐसी गति, आदि कारित करे ।
