37. Designated police officer.—The State Government shall—
(a) establish a police control room in every district and at State level;
(b) designate a police officer in every district and in every police station, not below the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police who shall be responsible for maintaining the information about the names and addresses of the persons arrested, nature of the offence with which charged, which shall be prominently displayed in any manner including in digital mode in every police station and at the district headquarters.

(क) प्रत्येक जिले में और राज्य स्तर पर एक पुलिस नियंत्रण कक्ष स्थापित करेगी;
(ख) प्रत्येक जिले में और प्रत्येक पुलिस थाने में एक पुलिस अधिकारी नामित करेगी, जो पुलिस सहायक उप-निरीक्षक के पद से नीचे का नहीं होगा, जो गिरफ्तार किए गए व्यक्तियों के नाम और पते, उन पर लगाए गए अपराध की प्रकृति के बारे में जानकारी बनाए रखने के लिए जिम्मेदार होगा, जिसे प्रत्येक पुलिस थाने और जिला मुख्यालय पर डिजिटल मोड सहित किसी भी तरीके से प्रमुखता से प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा।
