Summary trial by Magistrate of second class

The High Court may confer on any Magistrate invested with the powers of a Magistrate of the second class power to try summarily any offence which is punishable only with fine or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months with or without fine, and any abetment of or attempt to commit any such offence.

उच्च न्यायालय द्वितीय श्रेणी के मजिस्ट्रेट की शक्तियों से संपन्न किसी भी मजिस्ट्रेट को किसी भी ऐसे अपराध का संक्षिप्त रूप से विचारण करने की शक्ति प्रदान कर सकता है जो केवल जुर्माने से या छह महीने से अधिक की अवधि के कारावास से, जुर्माने के साथ या बिना जुर्माने के दंडनीय है, और ऐसे किसी भी अपराध को करने का दुष्प्रेरण (abetment) या प्रयास है।
