Evidence for prosecution
Full Text
(1) On the date so fixed, the Judge shall proceed to take all such evidence as may be produced in support of the prosecution:
Provided that evidence of a witness under this sub-section may be recorded by audio-video electronic means.
(2) The deposition of evidence of any public servant may be taken through audio-video electronic means.
(3) The Judge may, in his discretion, permit the cross-examination of any witness to be deferred until any other witness or witnesses have been examined or recall any witness for further cross-examination.

(1) इस प्रकार नियत तारीख पर, न्यायाधीश उन सभी साक्ष्यों को लेने के लिए आगे बढ़ेगा जो अभियोजन के समर्थन में प्रस्तुत किए जा सकते हैं:
परंतु इस उप-धारा के अधीन किसी साक्षी का साक्ष्य ऑडियो-वीडियो इलेक्ट्रॉनिक माध्यमों से अभिलिखित किया जा सकता है।
(2) किसी लोक सेवक के साक्ष्य का अभिसाक्ष्य (deposition) ऑडियो-वीडियो इलेक्ट्रॉनिक माध्यमों से लिया जा सकता है।
(3) न्यायाधीश, अपने विवेक से, किसी साक्षी की प्रतिपरीक्षा (cross-examination) को तब तक के लिए स्थगित करने की अनुमति दे सकता है जब तक कि किसी अन्य साक्षी या साक्षियों की परीक्षा न हो जाए या किसी साक्षी को आगे की प्रतिपरीक्षा के लिए वापस बुला सकता है।
