दण्डादेश के अधीन या विधिपूर्वक सुपुर्द किए गए व्यक्ति को पकड़ने का लोक सेवक द्वारा साशय लोप। जो कोई लोक सेवक होते हुए, सजायाफ्ता अपराधी को पकड़ने में जानबूझकर लोप करेगा, वह आजीवन कारावास या 14 वर्ष तक के कारावास से दंडित होगा (यदि सजा मृत्युदंड थी)।
