Whoever, being a public servant, corruptly or maliciously makes or pronounces in any stage of a judicial proceeding, any report, order, verdict, or decision which he knows to be contrary to law, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, or with fine, or with both.

जो कोई लोक सेवक होते हुए, न्यायिक कार्यवाही के किसी प्रक्रम में कोई रिपोर्ट, आदेश, वर्डिक्ट (निश्चय) या विनिश्चय, जिसके बारे में वह जानता हो कि वह कानून के विपरीत है, भ्रष्टतापूर्वक या विद्वेषपूर्वक बनाएगा या सुनाएगा, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि सात वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, या दोनों से, दंडित किया जाएगा।
