Full Text
Whoever, in any declaration made or subscribed by him, which declaration any Court, or any public servant or other person, is bound or authorised by law to receive as evidence of any fact, makes any statement which is false... shall be punished in the same manner as if he gave false evidence.

ऐसी घोषणा में मिथ्या कथन जो साक्ष्य के रूप में विधि द्वारा ग्राह्य है।\nजो कोई किसी ऐसी घोषणा में जानबूझकर झूठा कथन करेगा जिसे अदालत साक्ष्य के रूप में स्वीकार करने के लिए बाध्य है, वह उसी प्रकार दंडित होगा जैसे उसने झूठा साक्ष्य दिया हो।
