Receiving property taken by war or depredation mentioned in sections 153 and 154.

Whoever receives any property knowing the same to have been taken in the waging of war against any foreign State at peace with the Government of India, or in committing depredation on the territories of any foreign State at peace with the Government of India, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine and to forfeiture of the property so received.

धारा 153 और 154 में वर्णित युद्ध या लूटपाट द्वारा ली गई संपत्ति प्राप्त करना।\nजो कोई किसी संपत्ति को यह जानते हुए प्राप्त करेगा कि वह भारत सरकार के साथ शांति का संबंध रखने वाली किसी विदेशी शक्ति के विरुद्ध युद्ध छेड़ने में, या ऐसी किसी शक्ति के राज्यक्षेत्र में लूटपाट करने में ली गई है, वह दोनों में से किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि सात वर्ष तक की हो सकेगी, दंडित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से तथा इस प्रकार प्राप्त की गई संपत्ति के समपहरण से भी दंडनीय होगा ।
