How the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) Approves Names

Part 1: Coined Prefix

Every Indian company must start with a distinctive, non-generic prefix. Names cannot just be dictionary nouns like "Cotton", "Solutions", or "India".

Part 2: Object Activity

The middle portion should indicate the business activity (e.g. Technologies, Pharmaceuticals, Hospitality, Infotech) matching Main Objects of the MOA.

Part 3: Entity Suffix

Ends legally with "Private Limited" for Pvt Ltd, "LLP" for partnerships, or "OPC Private Limited" for single-director structures under Companies Act 2013.
